Skin Treatments for the Whole Body

There are many causes of dry skin: low humidity in Winter or desert/dry regions, taking frequent hot baths or showers, using harsh chemicals such as cleaners and soaps, taking certain medications, plus many more. When it's not cared for, dry skin may lead to other skin conditions, such as eczema and infections. So, it's important to get your dry skin under control. For soothing relief of dry skin, we've provided our suggestions on using Glysolid that will help your skin look and feel better quickly.

Day Time Therapy

Glysolid can be used like other skin creams and lotions. Massage a small amount of Glysolid (about the size of a hazelnut) all over your body - onto your arms, legs, neck, hands, feet, and any other parts that need attention. If applying Glysolid to the feet, be sure to put on a pair of socks.

You may find Glysolid to be a little thick to use during the day as a full body treatment. Instead, you can apply Glysolid to just the trouble spots, such as the knees, elbows, and feet. This will allow the cream to begin to work on the areas that need the most attention, leaving the full body treatment for the evening.

Night Time Therapy

Massage a good amount of Glysolid (about the size of a hazelnut) all over your body - onto your arms, legs, neck, hands, feet, and any other parts that need attention. For any extra dry areas, like elbows and heels, be sure to massage in a little extra cream. Put on a comfy pair of pajamas and socks to make sure the cream stays on your skin, then go to bed. The cream will work during the night to moisturize and soften your skin. Repeat this treatment nightly or as needed.

After Shower/Bath Therapy

The best time to lock moisture into the skin is after finishing a shower or bath, when your skin is warm and hydrated from the water. After drying yourself but before your skin loses the moisture from the shower, massage a good amount of Glysolid (about the size of a hazelnut) all over your body - onto your arms, legs, neck, hands, feet, and any other parts that need attention. Apply extra cream to any dry spots. You'll notice that the warmth of your freshly-bathed skin will help Glysolid spread and absorb more easily. The glycerin in Glysolid, a natural humectant, will hold onto the moisture and your skin will feel well-hydrated. If you've followed these steps in the evening, put on a comfy pair of pajamas and socks. Repeat this treatment after every shower/bath or as needed.
